ABOUT ANDI
Born in the Allgäu, Bavaria, Germany. Climbing since 2017/18, so around 18 years now. Biggest success in „climbing“ is winning the Southern Germany Lead-Routesetting Championship 2025 and placing third in the German Lead-Routesetting Championship 2025. In rock climbing achiving the 7b+ grade in my home crags Kochel is a big thing to me.
Except climbing I am a professional routesetter also owning a business that does everything from checking PPE, climbing gyms, selling holds offering coachings and courses.

1. What's your biggest f**k up in your climbing life?
Didn't tie my knot till the end cause of talking to a friend and lost my rope half way up the wall.
2. If you could pick anyone from the climbing history or the present climbers, who would you love to go climb with and why?
Seb Bouin.
3. What is your dream line?
Bon Voyage (9a/E12), cause its something that scares me. Not only cause of being a hard trad route but also being a high E-graded route with so much precision and technique plus being a beautiful line as well.
4. What's your favourite part of being in the Rafiki team?
Except having cool clothes its definitely having a partner that helps pushing my limits and supports living my life
5. What's your advice for the climbers of all levels?
Stay humble and strong and if nothing goes right go left.
